Training Room

Starting in early 2017, the Tarentum Eagles Ladies Auxillary took on a project to help local fire departments train firefighters both new and expierenced. The Ladies Auxillary teamed up with Citizens Hose to start working on the project. A large storage room at Citizens Hose was cleaned out and work started on a one of kind training room for the AK-Valley. The room was transformed by local contractor Jamie Berdar (also a fireman w/ Lower Burrel #3) from a storage room for old equipment to a 3 story maze with many different obstacles and props that can be changed each time a firefighter goes through. With this versitility, the room can be used for many different scenarios and classes. Citizens Hose has cross-trained with numerous departments so far and look foward to hosting more classes in the future.

Thank you to the Tarentum Eagles Ladies Auxillary for all the hard work they have done raising money to be able to make this a reality!!!
