Citizens Hose stays busy during snow storm

12/26/12- Crews started off the day at 11:11 , being dispatched to Rt 908 at the Rt 28 underpass for a tractor trailer vs station wagon. While Rescue 1 was getting ready to go enroute with a full crew, county advised this was actually on Rt 910 in Harmar Twp and requested a cancellation.

At 1625, units were dispatched to Freeport Rd at California Ave for a two vehicle accident, unknown extent of injurys one vehicle into a yard and telephone pole. 167 cheif arrived on scene and stated 1 pt unresponsive and entrapped. 167 rescue, 167 engine, medic 112 and medic 114 arrived on scene and provided a door pop and assisted with patient extrication. 168 engine was on scene providing fire prevention if needed.

At 1704, units were dispatched to Freeport Rd at Poplar St for a vehicle accident involving Medic 273. Medic 111, 167 Rescue 1, 167 Engine went enroute with full crews. 167 Rescue 1 arrived on scene and stated that PD was requesting a disregard.

At 1724, while clearing an ems assist, 167 Chief pulled on scene of a possible vehicle accident. 167 Cheif stated that it was a single vehicle with previous damage that was stuck in the snow, and cancelled all units.

At 1803, units were dispatched to Rt 908 at Alter road for a single vehicle accident involving a PAT Bus. County updated that the bus was on the 28 offramp and ended up on the grassy area. Medic 111 arrived on scene and obtained 1 refusal, and cancelled the rescue.

At 2100, Harrison units were dispatched to 30 Center St for a smell of natural gas inside the structure. 168 Cheif immediately held the assignment to 168 and cancelled all other units upon his arrival on scene.
