Dwelling Fire-1409 5th St.

7/16/12- At 1647, the general alarm was activated for a dwelling fire at 1409 5th street, resident stated that there was smoke and flames in the structure. Units arrived on scene and established a water supply and made an initial attack. 167 engine arrived on scene and had a pack crew stand by for RIT. Command then requested that 167 interior divert from RIT and assist with the fire attack on the 2nd division. Crews extingused the fire and multiple hot spots. EMS crews provided rehab during the incident. All 167 ,169 and 110 crews then cleared shortly after the fire was extingused.  168 remained on scene with the fire marshall.
