167-110 stays busy with 4 calls

5/12/12- A busy day for Citizens, running 4 calls throughout the day. At 1012, 167 and 110 where alerted to 513 Jefferson Ave. for an AFA. Chief 1 arrived on scene and requested all units to cancel with confirmation on a false alarm from the resident.

At 1644, 167 and 110 were dispatched to Freeport Road and Route 908 for a 2 vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 114 arrived on scene at the Harrison-Buffalo line reporting 2 vehicles,  negative entrapment. 167 Rescue 1 arrived on scene and provided containment. Butler County also received this call sending Buffalo Twp. and Sarver Vfc, with the call being ont the Harrison side of the line all Butler Co. units were returned. Medic 114, Medic 112, and Freeport Medic 70-3 transported patients to local hospitals.  All 167 units cleared the call.    (Units on scene- 167 Rescue 1, Medic 114, Medic 112, Medic 273, Ambulance 70-3, Tanker 27-Buffalo Twp. Rescue 36-Sarver)

At 1750, while members were cleaning up from the MVA, 167 and 110 were dispatched to 100 Highlands Mall for a 2 vehicle accident with negative injuries and debris on the roadway. Ambulance 111 and 167 Rescue 1 arrived on scene to find 2 vehicles off the roadway with minor fluids and debris, 167 LT2 took command. All hazards were cleaned up while 111 obtained a refusal. At 1900, 167 and 110 were dispatched to 8E Park Ave. for an AFA, due to smoke in the structure the general alarm was activated adding 168 and 169. 167 Engine arrived on scene and determined it to be burnt food in the oven. With no hazards, command returned all units. (Units responding-167 Engine, Ambulance 112, 169 Engine, 169 Rescue, 168 Truck.)
